J.K. Rowling destroys Trump with 1 handy George Washington quote

J.K. Rowling has no problem finding her own words, but sometimes she likes to let others say it for her.

On Sunday, Donald Trump posted one of his strangest tweets so far -- an edited video of himself clothes-lining WWE Chairman Vince McMahon, which had been altered so that the CNN logo was imposed over McMahon's face.

Yep: it was up there on the level of "covfefe", and no one on the internet really knew what to make of it.

Trump's underlying message was clear from his hashtags, though: he was taking another shot at what he likes to call the "fake news" media.

Just over an hour after he tweeted, J.K. Rowling waded in. Rather than saying anything herself, though, she decided to let the first ever U.S. president do the talking for her.

"Calumny" is basically the 18th century version of "fake news".

So essentially, Rowling was telling Trump to put a sock in it.
