Warning: Contains spoilers from Game of ThronesSeason 6, episode 5.

Whether you watch Game of Thrones or simply saw the Internet's desperate cries of "Hodor," you've probably heard the sad news. Hodor "Hodors" no more.

And importantly, the name Hodor was a mashup of "Hold the Door," the kind giant's final task to protect Bran from the White Walkers (an event Hodor's been talking about for six seasons). But while most fans are likely holding doors all day long, one fan in New York thought otherwise.

Whether this was a loving New York-themed sendoff to the character, or a condemnation of Hodor's entire philosophy, is hard to say. But it's right: you shouldn't Hodor on the subway.

And besides, if you're ever being chased by an army of zombies, waiting for the New York subway to arrive is absolutely not going to save you.
